Wild Love at FlockHill

A quiet kind of magic.

Monique & Quentin’s day at Flockhill felt like time slowed down. Just the two of them, wrapped in stillness, softness, and the quiet hum of deep connection. From golden light spilling into the homestead to the rugged calm of Sugarloaf in the distance, every moment was beautifully unhurried.

Monique wore pieces from our Mix-and-Match Range, layered with intention and ease. Her look came together exactly how we imagine when we design: with freedom. Freedom to move, to feel like yourself, and to create something that feels truly personal. The textures played gently with the light, and the silhouette shifted effortlessly from indoor intimacy to windswept landscapes. It wasn’t just a dress. It was hers.

As a designer, these are the moments that stay with me. Watching Monique wear the gown in her own way, soft, radiant, grounded, reminded me why we create what we do. There’s no one way to look like a bride. There’s only your way.

Every detail from this day held meaning. Wild florals in earthy tones, quiet moments at the pub, a slow walk through the beautiful scenery. Nothing overdone. Nothing rushed. Just love, held gently.

Hi there! I’m the founder and head architect behind Creative Process Collective, as well as owner and designer over at January Made Design.  You can guarantee I will greet you with an over the top smile and talk your ears off about all things creative, small business and probably pets (everyone loves pets). Serial over-sharer on social media, you’ll be able to find me most days sitting at my trestle table working away with a green tea and surrounded by too many house plants and most likely a cat stretched across my keyboard.
